With the consent of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, on March 28, 2017, at VSA2 Stadium (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City), the Trade Union Agency The Ministry of Construction cooperated with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction to hold the opening ceremony of the Sport Festival of the Ministry of Construction in 2017. This is one of the events to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Construction Trade Union (16 / 3/1957 – 16 / 3 / 2017), 59th anniversary of Construction Traditional Day ( 29/4/1958 – 29/4/ 2017) and the Eighth Congress of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung and the delegates held a flag-raising ceremony.
Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung, Chairman of Vietnam Construction Trade Union Nguyen Thi Thuy Le, Trade Union Chairman Diep Thi Thu Huyen, Secretary of Youth Union of Ministry of Construction Bui Chi Hieu and hundreds of athletes are civil servants and public employees from units under the Ministry of Construction.
According to the organizers, the Sport Festival of the Ministry of Construction in 2017 has 5 events, including: Men’s football, Badminton, Table tennis, Tug of war, tennis. Men’s Football event this year attracts 20 participating teams, divided into 4 groups A, B, C, D. Shortly after the opening ceremony, there will be 4 matches in Group A and B.
20 football teams from Departments, Institutes, Institutes and units under the Ministry of Construction attended the Sport Festival.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung highly appreciated the proactive and effective coordination between the Trade Union and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction. The Deputy Minister hopes these two agencies will maintain and further develop the physical training, sports movement and cultural activities to motivate the officers and employees of the Ministry of Construction together strive to complete the political tasks of the Ministry of Construction.
