19/2 morning, Mr. Takashi Tsokioka – General Director of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (companies from Japan, the unit contributed 35.1% stake in the project Nghi Son Refinery) had a meeting working with leaders of the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province.
According to information from the parties concerned, to May 1/2016, the construction progress of the project mechanical United Nghi Son Refinery has reached 83%. According to the plan, to be completed until December 11/2016 mechanical items and to May 7/2017, the project will go into commercial operation.

The project was granted an investment certificate for the first time in May 4/2008 and remains a petrochemical project with the largest investment licensed and ongoing construction.
Contact Nghi Son petrochemical complex to be built in the Nghi Son Economic Zone, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province. Refining capacity is expected to reach 200 thousand barrels / day (equivalent to 10 million tons / year) and the material resources of crude oil imports from Kuwait.
